The Acellus British Literature course is designed for 11th and 12th grade high school students and examines the development of British Literature from the early Anglo-Saxon epics to the Arthurian Tales, to Shakespeare, to post-modern writers.
British Literature gives students an enriching and perceptive understanding of the development of the literature in the context of its historical background.
In addition to the study of literature, the course includes instruction on different writing types and gives students practice in critical thinking and literary expression.
